The Cape Community Farm: a place to connect, learn, grow and visit
Located in a challenging environment along the rugged Bass Coast, The Cape Community Farm is a not-for-profit social enterprise whose aims are simple, yet important. The farm aims to share, inspire, educate and engage people to grow their own food - regardless of their experience, knowledge or location. If we can grow tasty, healthy produce here in a sometimes harsh, regularly windy, seaside location, then the possibilities are endless.
Become a member
Becoming a member is more than just accessing the farm space. You will also enjoy a sense of community, a place to share knowledge and learn from others, and have a bit of fun. Plus you become a part of a sustainable and environmentally sound, food growing revolution.
Market days happen on Saturdays between 10-11am where our volunteers look forward to having a chat and showing you around. Anytime the Farm gate is open, you are welcome to come in and see what is available for sale - we often have produce plus seedlings on offer.
Volunteering is fun, makes you feel good, and is a great social activity, so why not come down and get involved? Volunteer schedule:
Tuesdays and Fridays: 1 until 3
Wednesdays and Thursdays: 10.30 until 12.30
Saturdays: 10 until 11
